I think I’m back on track! I managed to work out one to two hours per day about six days for all of last week! I did three days of weight training and I stuck to the Kirsch diet because it’s easy and it works well for me, as it always has in the past. I didn’t cheat or feel tempted. I had my daily gallon of water and ate all my meals before 7pm. I know my hard work is paying off since I’m down another 5 pounds. I also feel stronger and the inches off my hips, waist and stomach are finally dissipating. I wore my skinny cobalt blue jeans this past weekend and it was a nice feeling that they didn’t make me feel like a stuffed sausage! Spring is finally here and I can’t wait to slip into my jean shorts soon. Discipline, structure, patience and loving your body really goes a long way. My goals are not to be skinny but to be healthy, fit and strong. I am eating 5 to 7 times a day on schedule and I do not starve myself. This isn’t a quick fix for a vacation in Cabo; health and fitness should be forever. I haven’t integrated cheat days in yet but I may perhaps create a “treat day” and add an extra day of half hour of cardio rather than go six days, I’ll go seven days next week. I just picked up the new Oxygen because I’ve become a fitness geek and I love reading everything I can when it comes to exercise and nutrition. :)
DJ Tiesto - Moonbeam - See The Difference Inside (Inside Mix)
I’ve been in the middle of moving and it’s been a week since I stopped in to log my progress. I worked out only twice, while trying my hardest to eat the healthiest possible. Last night, I went out for Japanese and it was not easy to resist the rice but I opted for the extra veggies with my shrimp stir fry but then I screwed it all up when I couldn’t skip the lychee martini. It’s been a stressful week and I usually say no to alcohol but I am human. So, I guess that one martini last night was in honor of St. Patrick’s? Well, I’m off to the gym to amp myself back into shape because I’m never giving up.
